I have been regularly checking the Laramie animal shelter run by the cops , Last week a small tortoise shell kitten was bought in , around 4 months old and feral found in a parking lot

So I called about her and next day went in to fill in the adoption form pre date of her adoption availability (as i dont live in town) After chatting with Officer Gene he took me back to meet her.. she was hiding, hunched up and so scared - a teeth and claws cat if touched or if hand goes near.. so sweet and as I was looking at the kitten I was being wowed at from behind I turned and this guy is desperate for my attention Officer gene opened the cage and I was rubbed on, scented and purring so loud as I found his spot He is currently called Miles then Gene told me his story He's about a year old and has 3 legs. His right rear was damaged so much it had to be amputated.

Then he was unwanted. He had gotten into a fight with a raccoon! Plus he had litter tray fights with another un-neutered male in the house - so they surrendered him. He is the sweetest thing and chose me!

Came home, told Alan the story and yep. we both said and thought of the new name Meet JakJak. I am bringing him home on Thursday 10th.

He is being neutered and chipped on the 8th but as I am not available tomorrow Gene will hold him for me if you cant work out the reason for name change - So excited to bring this guy to his new home. He deserves a life after his heroic fight and survived
