It's been a very crazy and busy start to the year and not even half way through the month yet! Alan is back at work, on the 11th he and Paddington left for CA and Alan will be going between projects for 3 'Rockhead' clients. He's extremely busy getting these projects up and running. He will be back around 10th Feb for a few days. But I was non stop in the kitchen to make sure he had loads of meals and bread to take with him

RANCH LIFE
Ranch life is going good, winter is missing the mega snow dumps still, really hope we get decent spring dumps as the horses have zero grazing and we will need to get more hay before spring hits - that hunt is ongoing
The horses are doing well, Shoshoni has recovered brilliantly and his wounds have healed. He has a scar across his nose but his skull and sinuses have fused and he's breathing perfectly.
They all still come in every night, which they are now used to and eager to come in , as that's when they get food!
Dakota and Champ are thoroughly enjoying their new food routine and senior mix , they love their porridge mix! photos / videos
Oscar is still with us, the lumps and masses are increasing and causing him to lick his skin alot more. He has more good days than bad . Today (14th) he is having an assessment with Sean (our vet) and also talk about pain meds to keep him comfortable until I ask Sean to come out
The Vet check went really well, his heart and lungs are healthy and no signs of distress. The big mass from his breast plate to under his armpit has grown alot, Sean can remove this in a couple of months if Oscar is still with healthy heart and lung function, as this mass is already giving Oscar a "Bulldog" stance and as it grows he will have difficulty with movement - If he is still healthy enough, happy, fit, having loony moments, then we will have this surgery done for him
he is on a painkiller for when he has bad days where he's constantly licking his legs - meaning he's trying to make himself feel better.
Francis / Jay comes out often to help me with Corral cleanups and having him close by has given Alan peace of mind when he is away. He helps with firewood and corral cleanups. He is currently back to writing , which has taken years to return since Uni crushed all of his creative juices and he seems so much happier now that he is back to it too
