Tinker became a part of our family on Oct 22nd 2006 when he was 2 1/2  yrs old on Jay's 10th birthday

I was with Belle when she gave birth to Tink and he was imprinted within the hour after she had cleaned him up! and Jay was with Tink every time we went to the ranch - he was always with him before we started doing our ranch chores - he helped me alot

So how we got Tink!

We all went to the ranch our first stop was to go in and see Jean & Bill for breakfast . Jean is Jay's para-pro (with his IEP) so they have a good relationship and she is with him all day every at school. After breakfast Jean had to tell Jay that Tinker had been sold and that he would belong to someone else. (we had planned it like this - us mean? us.. well maybe!)  Alot of panic questions ensued and eay eyes
 I had gone down to the corrals while this was going on!

Of course Jay had to go and see him instantly,  they gave me roughly enough time to get ready.They all came down to the corrals, jay was running to see Tinker, really anxious. He stopped dead in his tracks and saw me standing next to Tink , haltered and birthday ribbons in it .. It took Jay a while to work it out. I then told him that Mom, Dad, Nanny & Pops had bought him his best friend for his birthday!
 

And as Tink and Shoni are brothers, they got on well as they were always together on Jean's ranch so the move was easy plus then the separation of Shoni it was smoother for him to be with Tink aswell
 

Even though Jay has now left home, he cannot afford to help out with Tink , either hay or time, He is still Jay's and they still have an amazing bond when he comes out
